This is a Network Automation role develop automation scripting related to network infrastructure which can include streamlining network process operations, network gear configuration, optimizing deployments of Cisco routers, switches and ACI gear. Must have recent experience with below items. NOTE: resumes must clearly state the key mandatory items as listed below. Overview: Will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency/scalability of customers' network infrastructure via DevOps automation scripting of network-related equipment in a complex environment. Mandatory: 5+ yrs Python, Jinja2, Ansible, Terraform - scripting/automation development 1+ yrs Network Automation scripting with Network Routers, Switches, and/or Firewalls with any of these products: Cisco, Ruckus, Fortinet, F5, Palo Alto, etc. Backend dev w/ Python Framework & other tech building autonomous CI/CD pipelines Understands business objectives/operational needs & able to build automations for enhanced network efficiency, reliability, and security Understands standard network protocols, devices, and configurations Strong with Agile methods, Github and Sprints; familiar with Version Control Systems (Git) for managing codebase Professional, Reliable, on task, collaborative, strong problem-solving skills, Able to work individually & in team to understand requirements, consult on automation options Create tech documentation (user stories, tech guides, procedures), perform knowledge transfer, train team members on automation processes Outstanding Customer-facing, customer service and problem-solving skills; will work with clients, understanding objectives, discover environment, challenges, goals & put plans together & guild deployment team Service-oriented with the ability to build solid relationships and become a trusted advisor to clients Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, expeditious/fast-paced, evolving environment, appropriately prioritize tasks Keep abreast of industry trends/best practices in network automation and software-defined networking (SDN) Clear English verbal/written communication & negotiation skills; collaborate effectively; maintain professionalism when interacting with team and addressing concerns Willing to work onsite within a large Federal Contractor environment Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience Preferred/Optional: Automation experience w/ Cisco Routers, Switches and ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) Some knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) concepts and principles Experience with other Python frameworks like Django Experience working at a Federal or State governmental environment Certs: Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE and/or any DevOps related certs Thanks & Regards Sushmita Soni Sr. Technical Recruiter| SoniTalent Corp.
