| Job Title:Python Software Engineer Locations: Remote Client: State of Georgia Visa USC,GC Python Software Engineer: This position is on an engineering team that deals with the importing of healthcare licensing data, and creating/updating translation scripts, maintaining conversion tables. All development is in python3, and imported data is CSV, XLS, XML and formatted text. All team members are expected to seek practical solutions that prioritize customer needs while exhibiting qualities of a supportive team member and software engineering best practices. Fundamental Duties: Maintain a Django application. Understand requirements to deliver solutions against existing standards and practices. Build features to specification/design. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code. Utilize cloud-based data storage solutions. Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization. Develop some web scrapers. QA code from other engineers. Deploy code to production. Troubleshoot production issues. Build ad-hoc reports. Some data analysis. Our Requirements: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or a related field / or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience with Python. 3+ years of experience with JavaScript. 3+ years of experience with HTML, XML and JSON. Excellent communications skills (in English). Fluency with a web scraping technology. ProviderSafe Python Software Engineer: Fluency with a database querying language like SQL. Experience working with AWS is a plus. Good understanding of design patterns with practical implementations of the same. Knowledge of Git source control. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong problem-solving abilities.
