Title- Python Developer Visa-Any Client: Abbott Location: Plano- on site 5 days per week The biggest skill need here is: 3+years of Python Development for Automation and expertise developing automation solutions in Appium Description: This on-site contract position works out of our Plano, TX location in the Neuromodulation division of Abbott. Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. The development quality group is responsible for the formal compliance testing of all new products prior to regulatory review and launch worldwide. The DQE compliance contractor is responsible for developing test methods and scripts, executing the necessary testing, and documenting the results in formal reports. It is expected that the tester works closely with the product development team to report defects and ensure correctness of test results. The contract position is intended to support a planned or ongoing project until its completion, typically 18 months or less. Required Qualifications 4+ years relevant industry experience Bachelors degree in Engineering discipline Expertise with Python development (3+ years minimum)1 Expertise developing automation solutions in Appium Expertise in applying the IEC 60601 Standard1 Experience performing compliance testing Experience working with various engineering functions and cross-functional teams Experience working in regulated industry (e.g. medical, automotive, defense) Strong problem-solving skills Good analytical and communication skills Preferred Qualifications 4+ years relevant industry experience Experience performing automated testing Experience developing compliance protocols and reports Experience with electromechanical implantable devices Medical device experience or demonstrated ability to work within a highly regulated environment Keywords: information technology Texas |
