Need to have 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect. As a hands-on Data Architect with experience in Integrations, large system migrations, and Merger and Acquisition (M&A), you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of data assets from one system to another or different organizations during M&A activities. You will lead data architecture and integration efforts to align data strategies with the organizations business objectives, maintain data quality, and enable data-driven decision-making. Regarding Pet Integration, client is in the middle of a significant acquisition from Smuckers and purchased a large part of their pet food business. They intend to have fully integrated into client systems and processes by 11/1/24. For ETL, they are using: DataStage and Datagaps, but if this Data Architect has recommendations, they will listen. Regarding databases (migrating from / to), much of the data is coming from various Oracle applications, running on Oracle DB, but there are several sources that are not. Most of the data is going to be loaded into JD Edwards. This Data Architect will need to be Strategic. Regarding travel, the estimate is only 10% - mostly for learning potentially going to Ohio, Kansas and Pennsylvania. Any food / pet industry experience would be great, but they are finding that their biggest challenges are in: Items, Bills of Material and Formulas, so CPG knowledge, even if outside of pet foods, would be highly relevant. Any experience with BOOMI and/or JD Edwards is preferred.
