Job Description - Position: AV Systems Designer LOCATION: Owings Mills, MD (Baltimore)-------need local DURATION: long term --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Need someone from with financial industry background Need a very solid resume filled with these must have skills , education and linkedin Top 3 must haves: 1. Must have strong AutoCAD experience and skills especially with AV design work as this will be the primary job function 2. Must have min 6-8 years of experience within the AV industry 3. Excellent written and oral communication skills Notes from the manager: This resource will need to work the hybrid model of 2 days onsite 3 days remote in Owings Mills. The manager wants to see only local candidates because there will be stretches of time where the candidate will need to come into the office more than 2 days a week. There may be occasional travel to Pratt for that the HM said she would approve the expense for parking. Also best to mention the furlough to candidates so they are not caught off-guard in the future. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a technical field such as Mass Communications Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field required. Requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in the AV/VTC environment including working knowledge of components line drawings and others as they pertain to the layout and functionality of AV/VTC systems Minimal 6 - 8 years of experience Strong AutoCAD skills with the ability to create AV design drawing packages Works independently receives minimal guidance and excels in delivering design packages on time Has deep knowledge of one or more infrastructure components specifically POLY/ZOOM systems Demonstrates ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions Experience delivering AV technology and business application solutions in a large-scale multi-platform systems environment Keywords: access management Maryland |
