Role: ETL Business Analyst Location: Louisville, KY (Permanent remote) Duration: Contract Position Rate - $41/hr. on C2C Or $35/hr. on W2 for 7+ years experienced candidates . Job description Key Role: Support Medicaid Implementations and Operations in electronic transmissions set-up for state regulatory partners, health information exchanges, and vendor partners. Candidate Requirements & Qualifications: Five years minimum experience using technology in data analysis projects or in projects that dealt with business data flows. Three years minimum of ETL experience. Demonstrated understanding of the information needs and processing flows of Medicare and Medicaid is preferred. Experience with the SDLC phases of a project and general knowledge of project management. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, follow directions, and use good judgment in an environment that can be ambiguous and time sensitive. SFTP Experience Process Improvement Power BI, Jira and ADO training preferred Basic Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in a professional work environment Experience with Agile Methodology and/ or Scaled Agile Methodology Experience with Extraction, Transformation, and Loading of data between system Experienced in introducing new processes into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid Ability to coordinate with development and user teams to assess risks, goals, and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Math, Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics, or Statistics or 2+ years of experience working in a professional environment in lieu of a degree Description: Works with ETL developers, data stewards, project managers, and business SMEs to obtain programming specifications needed to submit information in our proprietary ticketing system that moves data from its origin to its ultimate destination. o Ensures proper documentation is completed so that the programming and testing occur o Tracks and maintains documentation on ET work o Communicates between both IT and non-IT departments on updates, as well as educating non-IT departments on the process o Ensures proper access for authorized users and provides support to data tool users Ensures the necessary documentation associated with the developed and maintained solutions to satisfy all company, IT and Data Governance policies, procedures, standards, practices, and guidelines. Assists in the collaboration between analysts, developers, system owners, quality assurance, business process owners, and data governance in the review and testing of new and changed data elements, structures, reports, and services to ensure final business solution acceptance. Assists project management staff in defining data project milestones and resource efforts. Provides market team members with guidance on ET process specific to their assigned request Keeps current with the technologies that have potential impact on company information processes, identifying opportunities and making recommendations for changes and/or additions to the data analysts toolbox including changes in best practice and methodologies.
