Position: Package Software Engineer(100% Remote) Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6 + Months VISA- Only H1B Job Description: As a Package Software Configuration Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to support the efficient and effective configuration of package software to meet the business needs of our organization. You will play a critical role in collaborating with internal stakeholders, tracking system development, and ensuring the successful implementation of software solutions. Your expertise in package software modules and business processes will be instrumental in achieving our program goals. Duties: Functional Configuration Planning: Support research, planning, and provide recommendations for functional configuration decisions to align with business requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to confirm, document, and develop solutions for specific software configuration requirements. System Development Tracking: Interact with relevant team members to track the progress of system development, ensuring it aligns with the established timelines. Requirements Documentation: Document and manage system requirements comprehensively, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives. System Configuration Planning: Participate in planning initiatives for system configuration and testing, ensuring the software meets business needs. Interface Requirement Communication: Work closely with designers to convey software interface requirements effectively. Team Leadership: Lead workgroups or teams in a functional or process specialist capacity, providing guidance and expertise to team members. Project Workplan Development: Develop project workplans and effort estimates to support the successful implementation of software solutions. Financial Input: Provide financial input for program budgets, expenditures, or other cost estimates as requested. Assistance and Work Direction: Offer assistance and work direction to aid other teams and team members in achieving their objectives. Complex Implementation Coordination: Plan and coordinate complex implementation activities, overseeing quality control, functional design, client operations design, data conversion, and training. Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor other team members, peers, and clients as appropriate, sharing your expertise and knowledge. Project Leadership: Lead multiple work threads/teams to successful completion of assigned activities and deliverables, while adhering to time and budget constraints and meeting business needs. Skills: Package Software Experience: Over 5 years of experience working with package software, including advanced configuration expertise. Module Expertise: Advanced knowledge and expertise working with specific package modules, functionality, and business processes listed in the application inventory. Integration Authority: Proficiency in integrating business processes with Package Master Data and across various Package modules and subscribing systems. Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence among business and IT leadership. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and decision-making. Certifications: Certification in Package configuration and/or specific Package modules is a must. Microsoft Office Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in using various Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, customers, and other IT personnel. IT Analysis Methodologies: Proficiency in IT analysis methodologies such as process flow definition and data flow diagramming.
