Role: DBA Admin Location: West Des Moines, IA (Onsite) Tops skills required: SQL Server / Postgres / SSIS deployment / Azure Backups & Restores, Debugging/Optimizing, Deploying packages Job Description/ Responsibilities Experience in Database Administration in SQL Server (2012,2014, 2016, 2017) Experience in Database Deployement and Transformation in Public Cloud (Azure / AWS / Google) Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc. Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention Good knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication, Always ON Strong knowledge of indexes, index management, integrity checks, Database Encryption, configuration, patching. Knowledge of SQL Server tools ( Profiler, DTA, SSMS, SSCM, PerfMon, DMVs) Documentation skills for processes and procedures ( creating KBs, run books, topology etc ) SQL Database Operational support to tech users" Postgres DBA Manage differnet versions of PostgreSQL databases and collobrate with our customers. Should have strong hands on exeperience on EDB postgres as well Perform Architecural health checks and suggest optimizations and design changes through a detailed summary Should Perform backup, restore, pointin time recovery. Should design and create databaes, user & roles manangment. High availabilty solutions on postgres. Upgrade and migrate postgres databases to clould and between cloud platrforms. Resolving performance issues on time.
