Establish and enforce data governance best practices, policies, and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Build and optimize data pipelines to support data analytics and reporting needs. Implement data security and access control measures to protect sensitive information. Perform data profiling, data lineage, and data cataloging to enhance data discovery and utilization. Lead data modeling efforts, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Drive the adoption of data analytics tools and technologies to empower data-driven decision-making. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Stay current with AWS data services, industry trends, and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or a similar role. Strong expertise in AWS data services, such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, and Lambda. In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, data quality, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in data analytics tools and languages like Python, R, SQL, or others. Experience with data modeling and ETL processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
