Title: Teradata BTEQ Developer Duration: Contract Work Location: Atlanta, GA/Richmond, VA/Norfolk, VA (Day 1-Onsite, Candidate needs to work at 3 Days at Client office- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Description Looking for a Teradata BTEQ Developer to build end to end business solutions and to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in US. The ideal candidate must possess excellent background on Teradata technologies. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team Requirements Must be an expert in script development using BTEQ Must have of Hands on experience in BTEQ, TPT load utilities, View point, writing complex SQL queries involving aggregation, OLAP functions etc , query tuning, Teradata performance tuning. Work experience in Snowflake or SAS experience will be added advantage. 5 to 8 years experience of ETL application development and implementation experience using Teradata and Informatica / any other ETL tool Must have 5+ years of experience in Unix scripting Must have 5+ years of experience in Informatica / ETL tools Must have experience in performance tuning, query optimization Must have experience in health care industry Must have experience in building data warehouse and/or DataMart Must have experience with database design, data modelling, dimension modelling concepts, ETL, data development, data integration, data distribution, data quality and analytics Should have experience at Architectural level Should have worked in Agile development and scrum methodology Should have experience in Onshore offshore coordination Experience in Medicare business is an added advantage Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Should have experience of leading 10+ member team Should have worked with job scheduling tool - Control M Knowledge in Medicare business would be an added advantage Responsibilities Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyses highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex requirements Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code. Acts as an expert technical resource for modelling, simulation and analysis efforts. Loading data from various data sources and legacy systems into Teradata production and development using BTEQ FASTEXPORT MULTI LOAD FASTLOAD INFORMATICA Candidate must be able to work under minimal supervision, must be a self-starter and lead aspects of project work as needed Candidate must interact with stakeholders, users for requirement clarification, design and development of ETL Process.
