Role- BI Architect Location- Memphis, TN (Onsite) Duration- Long term contract Job Description: Solution Design and Architecture: Design and develop scalable and efficient BI solutions that align with business goals and requirements. Create and maintain a comprehensive BI architecture that incorporates data integration, data warehousing, reporting, and analytics components. Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data pipelines are optimized for BI purposes. Data Modeling: Design logical and physical data models that support the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for BI applications. Implement best practices in data modeling to ensure data integrity, performance, and consistency across BI solutions. ETL Development: Define ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse or data mart. Develop and maintain ETL workflows, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and reliability. Report and Dashboard Development: Create interactive and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) to enable data-driven insights. Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions to ensure fast query response times and efficient data retrieval. Identify and address bottlenecks or performance issues within the BI infrastructure. Data Governance and Security: Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards for BI solutions to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure data access controls are in place. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
