You will be tasked with supporting large-scale projects around our custom-built applications that service our customers. Candidates with backgrounds around mission-critical applications and tight SLAs will thrive in our environment. Financial Services experience is a huge plus. Duties Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design, develop, and maintain Powerbuilder applications, ensuring they meet high-quality standards, performance, and scalability. Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to interact with databases efficiently. Perform unit testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. Document software design, development, and maintenance processes for reference and knowledge sharing. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and end-users as needed. Job Requirements Proven experience (5+ years) in Powerbuilder development, with a strong understanding of its principles and best practices. Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server). Familiarity with software development methodologies and version control systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
