This position will bill at 37.5 hours per week. Thecandidate will be part of an agile team focused on continued development andconfiguration of an electronic permitting (e-permitting) system for theDepartment and its bureaus. The candidate must also be extremely strongand well-versed in UI/UX design, including HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript,AJAX, and JQuery. Extensive experience utilizing Visual Studio 2019 ornewer is required. Experience managing work items and source code inVSTS/DevOps is also strongly preferred. The ideal candidate would alsohave familiarity with Oracle Data Provider (ODP.NET). This individualwill work as part of a larger development team that is following agiledevelopment methodologies, so experience with agile/SCRUM development ispreferred. JobDuties/Responsibilities Codes enhancement and development programs and/or requiredfixes to production problems using the functional and technical programmingstandards. Design and Develop UI screens. Develop these enhancements or features using: C#, ASP.NET MVC,ADO.NET, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, XML, CSS and Visual Studio 2019. Tests enhancement and development programs. Participates in structured code reviews/walkthroughs. Executes all required process steps. Create and provide content for operationaldocumentation to Technical Writers. Utilize configuration management tools, design tools,debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create,test and implement an application. Work in an agile team environment. Manage and complete assigned tasks in Azure DevOps. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
