They use Palo Alto - IAM experience (SSO, SAML, SCIM, or Okta) They use Okta (Very important) - PowerShell Job Summary The Sr. Systems/Network Engineer is responsible for planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing both hardware and software within our corporate infrastructure. Ensures the stability, integrity, and efficiency of information systems that support our users and business. This position interacts with Information Technology (IT) support staff and stakeholders to understand business requirements, evaluate solutions, effectively troubleshoot, and resolve problems in a timely manner, perform root cause analysis, communicate status updates, and document system changes. Essential Functions Expert level at designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing Windows and macOS environments. Management of workloads in both private cloud (VMware) and public cloud environments. Azure required, GCP or AWS a plus. Skilled in administration of a converged infrastructure stack including compute, storage, networking, and management layers. Cisco UCS a plus. Strong understanding of route/switch concepts regarding network operation and security. Understanding of NGFW security (L4 & L7) and SD-WAN. We use Palo Alto Strong understanding of Identity Access Management and Governance (SSO, SAML, SCIM). Okta strongly preferred. End-to-end management of Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Azure AD). Migration experience a plus. Manage profile and design around endpoint MDM. Intune and/or Mosyle a plus. Experience using PowerShell to manage Microsoft 365 and Azure AD services. Understanding and application of endpoint security (EDR, MFA). CASB/SASE experience a plus. Responsible for delivery of project-based assignments that encompass systems architecture, evaluation of scalability, POC, and deployment. Perform reviews of systems to address both short and long-term strategies for optimization and improvement of the user experience. Establish reputation as Tier 3 subject matter expert in assigned technologies. Maintain knowledge surrounding current and future technology trends, especially those surrounding core competencies. Interact professionally and effectively with both team and leadership through verbal and written communication. Effective self-starter working with little supervision and shifting priorities in a rapidly growing environment. Strong analytical, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
