Anticipation that its mostly Architect in practice, however having the prior experience with hands-on is important for the top categories: Identity (IAM), Network Security, AppSec tools/programs. The primary purpose of this job is to provide expert level direction and support in analyzing complex applications, codes, network, management systems, and for planning, designing, evaluating, and selecting cyber security systems and suites. The Security Architect plays an integral role in defining and assessing the organizations security strategy, architecture and practices. The Security Architect will be required to effectively translate business objectives and risk management strategies into specific security processes enabled by security technologies, services, and projects that address organization-wide needs, assess options, produce organization-wide designs, deliverables and roadmaps, and review complex project architectural deliverables for credit union-wide impacts. Let's prioritize expertise with Sr. Level Architect experience as follows: Identity working with Okta / Ping / IGA solutions / PAM solutions AppSec working with DevSecOps teams for DAST/SCA/SAST programs / pentesting programs / threat modeling Network Security - ZeroTrust programs / microsegmentation / SASE Architectures - Tool examples include Zscaler / Netskope / Fortinet / SDWAN technologies Security Operations a lower priority, with SIEM tooling and vulnerability management solutions (Tenable / Qualys / Rapid7) Position Overview: As a Senior Security Architect. your primary responsibility will be to provide expert-level guidance and support for analyzing complex applications, codes, network systems, and management processes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's security strategy, architecture, and practices. Your ability to translate business objectives and risk management strategies into concrete security processes and technologies will be essential. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and assess the organization's security strategy. Evaluate, select, and implement cybersecurity systems and suites to address organization-wide security needs. Work closely with DevSecOps teams for dynamic application security testing (DAST), software composition analysis (SCA), and static application security testing (SAST) programs. Lead pen-testing programs and threat modeling efforts to proactively identify and mitigate security risks. Drive network security initiatives, including Zero Trust programs, microsegmentation, and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architectures. Implement and manage identity and access management solutions, including Okta, Ping, and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) systems. Oversee security operations, including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tooling and vulnerability management solutions (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7). Review complex project architectural deliverables for their impact on the entire organization. Collaborate with business leaders to ensure alignment between security practices and business objectives. Maintain awareness of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies. Qualifications : Extensive experience as a Security Architect, preferably in a financial services organization. Strong background in identity and access management, application security, network security, and security operations. Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools such as Okta, Ping, DAST, SCA, SAST, Zscaler, Netskope, Fortinet, SDWAN, SIEM, and vulnerability management solutions. Proven ability to translate business requirements into security processes and solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other relevant certifications are a plus. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
