| From: Bharadwaj, Fisec Global Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hi Everyone, We have an urgent position for below requirement, if you are available and interested, please do reply me with your updated resume to [email protected] Job Title: Devops SME Location : Austin, TX / Mountain View, CA (Locals) Duration : Long Term Job Description : Objectives of the project: Legacy Server platform migration to a new platform Understanding the needs of customers and performing the migration for the customer Working on ways to automate and improve internal system processes Developing, testing, executing, examining scripts and analyzing results Identifying technical problems and developing updates and fixes Working with google engineers to ensure that migration successfully completed and works as intended DevOps SME / Technical Project Manager Responsibilities: As part of the delivery role, strategize talent acquisitions and skill assessment to build the team (screening the resumes, conduct/coordinate technical assessments for custom application solutions - java, python, angular, sql, ci/cd, version control etc) Determine technical risk and issues in the project and suggest and work on mitigation options to resolve it. Own and manage communication with technical teams and client stakeholders. Engage and lead a team of devops / software engineers, including all kinds of team reviews and technical guidance. Mentor and train project team members on the Solution details for a smoother execution. Own the Delivery Governance operations trackers and dashboards and maintain it day to day basis. Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 3 technical support Communicate with the customer to understand business and system requirements to perform server migration Perform root cause analysis of errors and resolve technical issues Develop scripts to automate internal processes. Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance Required Skills: 10+ Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role 3+ years of team management experience in SRE system Good knowledge of server platforms. Experience handling Production systems Experience in software deployment processes, experience in building and configuring CI/CD pipelines Experience in release management and transition processes Experience in SRE Automation Infrastructure architecture experience along with server platforms Software development or scripting experience using one or more of Python/Go/Perl/Java/C++ etc. Good verbal and written communication skills Good Problem-solving and troubleshooting attitude Collaborative team spirit Ability to organize independently P Preferred skills and qualifications: Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field SRE or DEVOPs experience for a large company ITIL v3 and up certification is nice to have.
