Title : ServiceNow Architect Location : Chicago IL/Remote Job Type: Contract: 7+ years of delivering ServiceNow implementations and integrations with an emphasis on ITOM. Expert in ServiceNow ITOM modules: Discovery, CSDM, CMDB, Service Mapping, Service Graph Connectors, Event Management, Governance. HAM and SAM a plus. Other ITOM modules a plus. Expert in defining and leading process and people governance; establishing polices and building business relationships. Expert in ServiceNow CMDB Architecture and CSDM modeling. Superb communication skills, both verbal and written using diagrams and flowcharts to translate technically complex concepts into easy-to-understand business value statements and procedures. Primary contact for working with process owners, business users, and vendors. Hands-on experience in scripting and coding solutions, namely Discovery, Service Mapping and Orchestration. Experience with JavaScript, Power scripting, and/or other automation programming. Experience designing and developing integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (Akamai, CSC), cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP APIs), including use of ServiceNow's Integration Hub, and/or custom APIs. Expert understanding on import sets and transform maps, working with external data sources, ServiceNow data mapping. Capable to lead the readiness of CMDB for advanced technologies like containerization and cloud services. Experience with implementing the CSDM framework for all maturity levels. Deep knowledge of which of Business Service, Business Application, and Application Service to be applied to a given use case. Ability to analyze existing CIs, their relationships with other CIs, and effectively map them for the success of ITSM processes like Incident, Change, and Problem, Application Portfolio, and Security Vulnerability management. Experience with configuring/developing Discovery probes, sensors and / or patterns to ensure high data accuracy and integrity of CMDB. Experience with improving Discovery performance and coverage and building effective dashboards for senior leaders, service owners and executives to show accurate and up to date results of CMDB health. Expert knowledge of third-party integrations with ServiceNow, Discovery probes, sensors and patterns, Service Mapping configurations and Event management rules for correlation of events and alerts coming from monitoring tools. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
