Job Description The Transportation Data Domain team is tasked with curation and presentation of data from many operational applications throughout Supply Chain Transportation. This data will be used in executive and departmental analytics and performance metric. It will also be used for operational improvement through alerting and actuation. This is a new team and an exciting new capability within Kroger Technology and Digital. Key Responsibilities Position Summary: The Services Developer Lead will participate in activities that guide the direction, development, and delivery of software solutions that meet business needs. The Services Developer Lead will complete analysis and design tasks required to deliver critical business solutions. This position will establish estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks. The Services Developer Lead will communicate with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest of quality and in accordance with standards. The Services Developer Lead will be expected to demonstrate the core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Participate in design discussions, execute development against design, and navigate complex codebase Complete estimates and work plan as appropriate for design, development, implementation, and rollout Create technical system documentation and ensure that this documentation remains current Participate in the analysis of the technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement Promote the capture and reuse of intellectual capital, including code objects and components Support and maintain applications utilizing required tools and technologies.
