Employee Value Proposition (EVP) EVP This app is very important & has high visibility. This is also a part of the digital modernization at the IMF. Working in the econometric modeling team, Called the IMFE project The app uses Office Excel add-ins, but theyre going to switch to an app thats built on C#. They want to get away from Office Excel because C# has so many more components. There are limits to what Excel can do which is why theyre going to make the move to C#. Other groups at the IMF have done something similar to this. The goal will be for this to be a standalone, desktop application. The app works with mostly time series data along with quarterly & monthly data. Country desks at the IMF import data files into this app. The people use this can be anybody within these groups like research assistants. Once the data is loaded, it gets calculated in this app. This app automates this process. Country desks use this on a daily basis. This does a great deal of forecasting work and used for generating reports. Keywords: csharp user interface javascript information technology |
