The Application Architect will be responsible for translating strategic business needs into robust architecture, working with cross-functional stakeholder team in support of delivering Open Banking/ API capabilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Liaise with Product Management Teams, Digital Applications Teams, Line of businesses, Enterprise Architecture team, and other stakeholder teams to ensure that the solutions effectively address business priorities while balancing client experience and technical integrity. Operate with little supervision and troubleshoot complex problems, to recommend appropriate actions Brainstorming new features, improvements and enhancements Possess strong understanding of digital services and API Management platforms Broad experience across technical components including network, applications, data and information security Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Comfortable with ambiguity, leading autonomously and making independent decisions Skilled relationship builder who can work seamlessly as part of a cross-functional team Preferred Qualifications: Experience in banking, financial services and/or investments across multiple client segments including consumer, small business, wealth and commercial business. Demonstrated competency in leading enterprise-level business architecture strategic planning with ability to differentiate feasible from non-feasible solutions Strong understanding of Open Banking and API specifications FDX, FAPI, REST API, OAUTH 2.0, OpenID Connect Proficiency with leading Open Banking platforms. Ability to develop architecture roadmaps and plans that enable strategies Demonstrated thought-leadership skills and ability to translate high-level business requirements into technology solutions.
