Locations for the role:Owings Mills, MD hybrid schedule (2 days on site, 3 days remote)

Or Downtown Baltimore, MD (Pratt St) - hybrid schedule (2 days on site, 3 days remote)

Vendor Company haspartnered with a global financial company in Owings Mills, MD area that islooking to hire a Sr Financial Business Analyst with some Project Managementexperience. You will be planning, directing and coordinating activities inengineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-outfor projects. You willcoordinate projects, making detailed plans toaccomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities. Youwill present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients. You willrecruit employees, assign, direct, evaluate their work, and oversee thedevelopment and maintenance of staff competence. You will analyze technology,resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility ofprojects. You will confer with management, production and marketing staff todiscuss project specifications and procedures. You will review and recommend orapprove contracts and cost estimates.

REQUIREMENTS:

8 years of experience required

Experience with project and asset management

Bachelors degree in business administration or arelated field

PMI or PMP certification preferred

Understanding ofAsset Management, Derivatives, Data, and Data Governance

Verbal and writtencommunication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail andinterpersonal skills.

Knowledge ofproduction processes, quality control, costs and other techniques formaximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Knowledge ofbusiness and management principles involved in strategic planning, resourceallocation, and production methods.

Knowledge ofcomputer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.

BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE:

Previousexperience working for a financial institution

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

5 years Asset Managementexperience.

3 years Front OfficeInvestment Management project delivery experience.
4 years Front Office Investment Management businessanalyst experience.
Worked closely with Back Office or Trading in either aproject manager or business analyst capacity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and being able to workwith people across multiple locations.
Experience of facilitating meetings with stakeholders toreview and solve key issues.
Ability to work well with people with varying technical,business and cultural backgrounds.
Experience working with senior management in formalpresentations, escalations and issue resolutions.

Strong negotiation andinfluencing skills.

Experience with MicrosoftProject, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Ability to translate and simplify complex business
