Job Title: Senior Workday Technical Project Manager Location: Raritan, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: 6+Months Visa Type: NO H1 Job Description:- We are looking to hire a candidate with the skill sets mentioned and experience for one of our clients within the pharmaceutical industry domain out of Raritan, NJ. This position is a Hybrid role. Thus, local candidates are preferred. This is a 6-month contract with potential for extension. Job Summary: Looking for an overall project manager to lead the Workday implementation. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the Project from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate would be a Project Manager who grew up as a Workday developer and lead who grew into a project manager role. Responsibility: The Technical Project Manager performs a variety of tasks including: Co-developing, managing, and maintaining the Project Plan and leading the team from the from the front. Facilitation of all program/project executive meetings. Managing the issue and key decision log. Setting deadlines and evaluating milestones. Assigning responsibilities to team members. Identify and manage risks from a Workday Implementation standpoint. Delivering status reports to upper management regularly. Escalating issues that may impact the go-live date to the steering committee. Co-ordinate requirements gathering and design sessions with respective teams. Work planning and management with various Workstream Leads. Management of Integration workstream tasks, dependencies, and deliverables. Management of Reports development work stream tasks, dependencies, and deliverables. QA/Test planning with development and QA Teams. Cutover planning to a production environment. Ensure cross-functional team collaboration (customer side). Coordinate user training, as needed. Required Skills and Experience: 10+ years of overall IT application development experience. At least 5+ years of domain experience in the pharmaceutical industry - MUST At least 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing and overseeing successful delivery of Workday project implementations. Looking for a candidate who has been a workday developer for 5 years and later progressed into a Project manager role. Workday technical skills to be successful as a Technical Project Manager. Very organizational and collaboration skills with proven experience to align the solution, scope, and timelines with various stakeholders. Pro-active personality with a positive and can-do attitude and ready to roll up the sleeves. This person would be a leader who prioritizes serving the greater good. Someone who serves their team and their organization. Very Good Communication skills. A bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent degree and a combination of experience required.
