This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, setting project goals, ensuring proper resource allocation, managing timelines, and delivering high-quality solutions. The TPM - Data will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and efficient data operations. Responsibilities for Internal Candidates Manage and coordinate portfolio of initiatives and projects for an Analytics team, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with department objectives Maintain open communication and relationships within the analytics team, facilitating team meetings, monitoring progress of business initiatives, mitigating risks, and maintaining the team board, sprint plans, and overall project set up in the PM tool Prioritize and coordinate timely resolution of customer issues and ad-hoc business requests as needed to support the success of advanced analytics team Act as a thought partner to the department leadership, promoting transparency, collaboration and consistent use of Program Tools (PM tool, WIKI, Team Boards) among team members at all levels Develop detailed project plans outlining the scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and timelines. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure projects are completed within schedule and budget constraints. Collaborate with data teams to define technical requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria. Act as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their requirements are properly captured and implemented. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans. Proactively manage risks and issues that may impact project timelines or outcomes. Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges. Qualifications for Internal Candidates Minimum of 10 years experience leading projects within a technical environment. Minimum of 7 years experience leading projects in an Agile development environment 2-3 years of leadership experience managing a technical team of data engineers and UI designers 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Power BI, Tableau or Spotfire Proficiency in DWH and data modeling concepts Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters preferred). Proven experience managing technical projects related to data management, data analysis, or data engineering. Strong understanding of data technologies, databases, ETL processes, and data analysis tools. Excellent project management skills with a focus on Agile and Scrum methodologies. Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and navigate complex organizational structures. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Agile certifications are a plus.
