Role: Infrastructure Project manager Location: Concord, NH-Hybrid Contract JOB DESCRIPTION: (Need local resources to New Hampshire) Skills and Technologies: Background in IT with a strong focus in Infrastructure and Operations: servers (virtual and physical), storage, backup, DR, data center operations; customer oriented, strong presentation and communication skills 5-8 years managing medium to large size infrastructure projects, PMP Certification a plus knowledge of data centers and implementations standard project management tools - knowledge of Smartsheets and M365 (Teams, SharePoint) a plus; Strong communication skills, ability to present project updates and materials to a variety of stakeholders, senior leadership and various agencies. Roles and Responsibilities: Coordinate with key stakeholders to assess and align management, business and IT resources required to meet requirements and deliverables for medium to large-scale projects within the Infrastructure & Operations and User Services Portfolio. Develop project plans, with defined timelines, deliverables, etc. to effectively and efficiently meet requirements that insure successful completion of deployments and implementation of ARPA and Capital funded IT solutions for medium (agency) to large-scale (statewide) projects. Monitor project milestones to ensure alignment with defined timelines and deliverables. Monitor project activities to ensure they are within scope and adhere to applicable Clients department policies, procedures, and standards. Monitor and, where necessary, recommend courses of action for any project activities that are at risk, deficient or not compliant with regulations or requirements. Schedule, facilitate and document results of project meetings, work sessions, etc. Provide scheduled and ongoing reporting to key stakeholders on project status, milestones, and deliverables. Engage key stakeholders when project deliverables are at risk and recommend courses of action required to mitigate project risk. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop new, and update existing policies, procedures, standards, and required to support the project outcomes. Communicates and meets with project team and key stakeholders on a regular basis. Project Details: Projects will be infrastructure focused, medium to large sized, and will include some or all of the following: Migration of VM workloads to 3rd party data center(s) Evaluate our current DR plan, solution and implement a DRaaS (Disaster Recovery as a Service) solution for critical Client systems. Replace the Clients legacy backup solution to provide additional cyber protection, address disaster recovery shortfalls, and add capabilities to address agency and legal considerations. Roll out Cloud-native backup for the M365 environment to include Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint using AvePoint solution.
