From: Yogesh Chauhan, Sibitalent [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Network Architect II Client: CDK Global 6+ Months Contract Location: Austin, TX (100% Remote) Job Description: As a Network Architecture Consultant, you will be responsible for driving a project to evaluate our current public routable IP address space, design and implement a new solution using non-routable IP address space, and lead a team of network engineers to execute the project successfully. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, IP address management, and the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex networking challenges. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (masters degree preferred). Extensive experience (5+ years) in network architecture design and implementation. Strong knowledge of IP address management, routing protocols, and network security. Proven project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Familiarity with cloud-based networking and virtualization technologies is a plus. Industry certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, CISSP) are desirable. Key Responsibilities: 1. IP Address Space Evaluation: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of our existing public routable IP address space. Identify inefficiencies, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for improvement. 2. Design and Planning: Develop a strategic plan to transition from public routable IP addresses to non-routable IP address space. Design a scalable and secure network architecture that optimizes resource utilization. 3. Project Management: Lead and coordinate all phases of the project, including scope definition, resource allocation, and timeline management. Ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are of high quality. 4. Team Leadership: Assemble and lead a team of network engineers to execute the project. Provide guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise to the team members. 5. Documentation: Create detailed documentation of the new network architecture, IP address allocation, and routing policies. Ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. 6. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams and management, to align project objectives with business goals. Communicate project progress, challenges, and recommendations effectively. 7. Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures and best practices to protect the network infrastructure.
