Programming and Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, MVS, and DB2. Testing: Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure software reliability and functionality. SDLC Methodology: Utilize the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology to manage projects effectively from requirements through deployment. Experience in SDLC is required. EDI Formats and Communications Protocols: Ensure secure and standardized data exchange by working with communications protocols such as FTP. Knowledge of EDI formats, especially HIPAA Transactions like 837P, 8371, 835, is essential. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and inefficiencies in software systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience). Strong knowledge of systems analysis and design. Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, MVS, and DB2.
