Fully remote, EST or CST time zone, contract budgeted until 10/31/2024. Candidates need to have Instructional Design, Facilitation, and Technical Writing experience supporting BCBS plans, with the highest emphasis on Instructional Design (so they should have mostly ID, followed by some Facilitation/Instructor Led Training, and a little Technical Writing). They are also really looking for someone with experience training on Pega based systems. Position Description: The Learning Program Consultant will engage in the following: Technical/System writing - User Guides using Style Sheets within MS Word - creating and updating User Guide in Word and FrameMaker (from "scratch"), Instructional Design - drafting PowerPoint presentations, creating eLearning modules, updating Captivate files, uploading SCORM files to LMS; converting recorded WebEx sessions into Camtasia and uploading to LMS; using Snagit to deidentify screen captures. Training Delivery/ virtual instructor-led training using WebEx and/or MS Teams; create BILTS (Blended Instructor Led Training solutions. What Youll Get to Do: Support the consulting and business partnering processes by collecting customer needs. Support the setup and management of learning environments. Build/curate content that aligns to designed learning experiences as part of front end analyses. Identify opportunities to leverage technology within learning programs. Execute specific change management-related tasks as assigned. Execute specific coaching and feedback-related tasks as assigned. Collaborate with WRS team members to ensure learning content compliance and quality. Collect and compile data for reporting in support of the impact evaluation process. Execute project management tasks as assigned by more senior LPCs. Gather content from identified knowledge sources to create components from the Performance Support Plan as assigned. Collaborate with WRS team members to assure the compliance and quality of content within the Center of Excellence repository. Participate in knowledge sharing among team members to grow target skills and competencies. Youll Bring these Qualifications: 1-2 years experience working in human performance engineering (HPE) functions (Experience can be in traditional roles, such as instructional designer, technical writer, trainer, courseware engineer, change agent, performance consultant or a similar role). 1 year experience in project management. Knowledge and experience with data collection methods. Knowledge of quality assurance practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to execute project coordination tasks. Ability to create and maintain learning and performance support deliverables. Ability to set up and moderate various learning technologies; i.e. Web conferencing, collaboration tools, LMS. Ability to plan, organize, and report on work to meet commitments. Ability to work in a matrixed team and drive engagement with other team members. Proficient use of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to apply different learning delivery methods, i.e., facilitation, coaching & feedback. Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep initiatives on track to achieve outcomes. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to use project management tools and methods.
