Our team develops a set of backend microservices working to handle passive processes and manual operations on Spectrums Advanced In-Home Wi-Fi router. We are seeking an automation focused team member to increase our automated test coverage and participate in manual testing for system familiarization and team cohesion Must have: Strong understanding of REST concepts and API testing Strong Java & JUnit backend automation skills Understanding of core programming concepts e.g., serialization, mapping, working with collections (lists, sets, arrayLists), asynchronous programming Complex microservice end-to-end testing experience Defect troubleshooting, debugging experience Strong test documentation/technical writing skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience in/with: Java/Spring/Maven/IntelliJ Postman/Insomnia, Curl/HTTPie Kafka or message-driven testing e.g., RabbitMQ, Spark Command line-oriented testing e.g., Unix, Mac Kubernetes understanding and exposure NoSQL database testing e.g., DocumentDB, MongoDB CI/CD toolkits and pipelines e.g., Gitlab, Harness TestRail test documentation software JIRA/Agile methodology Nice to have: (not required, but an extra plus if you have the experience) AWS exposure Docker understanding and exposure Logging service exposure e.g., Splunk, DataDog Swagger exposure Oxygen framework exposure Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment quality analyst Colorado Wisconsin |
