| From: Abhishek Pathak, Stellar Consulting Solutions [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Note: This is a C2H position, only on W2 Job Description: Title: Lead UX Designer Location: Remote (EST Working hours) Duration: C2H (6 months Contract to Hire) Client: UPS Responsibilities Provide leadership for the design of solutions for products and services by defining, creating, refining, and improving concepts and user experiences across multiple parallel workstreams within a product area. Direct and manage the efforts of one or more supporting designers within the product area; ensure adherence with brand guidelines and the Fusion design system. Communicate expectations within the design team for standards of quality; conduct feedback sessions with supporting designers to reinforce collective knowledge, consistency and design quality. Interface directly with our agile product teams on prioritization, scheduling, and design delivery. Shape design strategies for products by guiding collaborative activities and efforts to create experience goals, journey maps, information architecture, scenarios, personas, wireframes, prototypes, final concepts, interactions, content, etc. When necessary, because of project needs/timelines, directly work on research, analysis, or design deliverables and tasks. Collaborate with product teams, our colleague designers in Marketing, customer experience strategists, research team, and product analysts to establish a vision for where the work is headed, and a shared understanding of what 'good' looks like for our customer. Strive to discover fresh insights to inform, improve, and innovate through design thinking, research, and testing. Translate findings into actionable, prioritized improvements to drive design direction or improve existing experiences. Guide and mentor others to support their advancement, leading and taking part in team and practice development, growing leadership capacity, and helping to attract high quality talent to our design practice. Requirements: 10+ yrs. of experience with web and/or native mobile application design, preferably in retail/ecommerce, logistics or supply chain domains. Experience serving as a lead or principal designer. Bachelors or Masters Degree in relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, Human Computer Interface, User Experience Design), or equivalent work experience Expert level experience with Figma. Portfolio displaying relevant experience as a UX or product lead or principal. Proactive and confident self-starter, able to form relationships with key stakeholders and product team members with little supervision. Able to direct self and supporting designers in planning and structuring design work across multiple product workstreams. Able to oversee design delivery, ensuring a quality work product that satisfies user, brand, accessibility, and product goals. Experience facilitating Design Thinking in cross-functional product teams is a plus.
