I am reaching out to you on an exciting job opportunity with one of our clients iSeries (AS/400) Developer may turn in to two roles Start: 10/23 for 6 months , may extend Location: Remote (must be on CST time zone no exceptions) all-inclusive No h1b To be clear this is a support role: 85% of the job is rinse and repeat 100% remote but MUST BE IN CENTRAL TIME ZONE Steps: I will screen Must pass a video screening with the account director Must pass a video screening with the project lead / project manager iSeries (AS 400) developer needed. This reports to IT Director over inventory and its all about keeping track of inventory: what gets filled here and there; what happens when stock is low, etc. Need to be able to pull data out of legacy iSeries system and then use Excel to analyze the data. Software Engineer/Developer More developer type who can support existing mainframe resource Ability to pick up complex topics such as inventory and companys IT footprint Expertise with Excel and data analysis Strong ability to document or assist with documenting the work they are working on/supporting Role is primarily support related but there will be development opportunities to automate this existing work and potentially support the dev team.
