This reports to IT Director over inventory and its all about keeping track of inventory: what gets filled here and there; what happens when stock is low, etc. Need to be able to pull data out of legacy iSeries system and then use Excel to analyze the data. Software Engineer/Developer More developer type who can support existing mainframe resource Ability to pick up complex topics such as inventory and companys IT footprint Expertise with Excel and data analysis Strong ability to document or assist with documenting the work they are working on/supporting Role is primarily support related but there will be development opportunities to automate this existing work and potentially support the dev team. To be clear this is a support role: 85% of the job is rinse and repeat 100% remote but MUST BE IN CENTRAL TIME ZONE Must be truly expert level in EXCEL no joke. Not just good, amazing ninja-level skills in Excel. Analytical (Where they have struggled is finding someone with both iSeries AND Excel. They must have the Excel skills to be able to track all of the inventory) Support- this is a support role; no new development; 85% of job is rinse and repeat Document must document in Excel Automate Suggest areas where they may be able to automate things IF THEY HAVE VISIO IT WILL BE A SLAM DUNK BUT NOT REQUIRED (HE HAS SOMEONE WHO KNOWS VISIO THAT CAN DO THAT PART OF THE JOB).
