Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the software solution delivery lifecycle - designing end-to-end enterprise solutions that align with SCEs technology strategies and design principles, considering scalability, performance, usability, security, reusablility and integration. Design the solution architecture based on business process requirements, application and system landscape simplification. Develop architectural governance, roadmaps and deployment plans to guide the execution of the NextGen ERP technology initiatives in a manner that supports the simplification of the technology landscape and drives business value realization. The Solution Architect serves as a thought leader, lending architectural expertise and best practices in highly skilled and very experienced team of architects and technical resources. Duties: Lead functional and technical landscape solution design for one or more complex business process domains such as Finance, Human Capital Management Time Management, Logistics, Supply Planning, Procurement, Asset Management, Work Management, etc. Defines multiple solution options and guides/develops the understanding of the financial and value realization impacts of solution architecture alternatives Defines architectural standards, principles and the governance framework and processes to manage stakeholder decisions and safeguard the integrity of the solution architecture Execute knowledge management, thought leadership and innovation activities Provides technical oversight, leading solution architecture related quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents and code reviews; provide direction and guidance to internal and external partners project reosurces to ensure the integrity of the solution architecture and business value capture People development as required, serve as team lead and support line managers in people development tasks; act an advisor and mentor to architectural and technical resources providing guidance and motivation Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration or related technical major/subject area Experience: Ten (10) or more years of solution architecture/technical solution design experience across a wide range of SAP ERP or related non-SAP ERP-enabled functional areas such as Finance (FI/CO), Human Capital Time Management, Payroll, Materials Management, Logistics, Plant Maintenance-Work Management, Plant Maintenance- Asset Management, etc. Ten (10) or more years of experience of hands-on software engineering and application development experience within an enterprise SAP ERP solution footprint, including designing integrations between SAP and non-SAP solutions (on-premise, cloud or hybrid) Seven (7) or more years of experience facilitating workshops with various functional teams and end user stakeholders to translate complex business needs and requirements into appropriate technology solutions within an enterprise SAP ERP solution footprint covering SAP and non-SAP solutions Seven (7) or more years experience peforming full life-cycle SAP/ERP implementations, serving as a solution architect, technical architect, technical lead or enterprise architect in very complex enterprise environments Seven (7) or more years experience of supporting business process design/business process re-engineering as part of business transformation programs involving ERP footprints Five (5) or more years experience conducting UX workshops with various functional teams to plan, design and build UX applications to support a complete and cohesive user experience Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues to resolve design issues and/or defects Experience developing functional specifications in support of the development of Reports, Forms, Interfaces, Enhancements and Workflows Comprehensive track record and experience with complex implementation projects, including the coordination and decision facilitation of process, architecture related issues;
