Drive program/project schedules and status reports. Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented. Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information. Organize cross functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints. The PM will be accountable for helping the Data Science teams deliver business value based on prioritized work for each sprint. This role will primarily focus on maturing our agile planning and execution rhythms. Responsibilities may also include: - Facilitating ceremonies following the Agile Framework i.e., triage, standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint communications, and backlog grooming. - Develop, track, and report out on team delivery performance metrics - Support PMs on the team ensuring the backlog is properly groomed and work is planned out and delivered in a timely manner - Assist team members with right sizing work to support frequent and focused delivery during sprints. Recommended Certifications - Certified ScrumMaster, Product Owner or equivalent, Certified Data Management Professional (DMP) Required Work Experience - 5+ years of Agile delivery experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban and other methodologies using Azure DevOps - Experience working in a data science teams - Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills - Experience with Power BI TYPICAL DAY IN THE ROLE Task break down 25% meetings 40% work with Azure DevOps 35% project work Interaction level High interaction with sponsor and team Chance for an extension: possible CANDIDATE VALUE PROPOSITION This organization managesLearn.microsoft.comwhich is a platform with technical documentation that helps customers use their products and can get certified in different areas.
