| .NET Backend Developer Location: Hybrid in Cleveland, OH 3 months contract to start can go longer. Visa: USA, GC Only Job Description) The Backend Developer will be responsible for building and deployment of server-side components of the Paint Stores Group (PSG) content tracking application. The main tasks will include developing an MVC application to bridge a database of topics in the companys internal publications with a front-end web interface. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in modern programming in ASP.NET or Azure. This is a 3-month contractor role. Strategy & Planning Partner with Content Development to assist in defining asset needs. Partner with the UX Strategy to incorporate essential functionality. Ensure application is complete, polished, and delivered on schedule. Development & Deployment Operational Management & Optimization Assess feedback from Content Development team. Update database for weekly publishing cycle. Debug and optimize performance. Partner with UX team to incorporate revisions. Support & Outreach Document feedback and route it through the appropriate channels. Escalate technical issues. Ensure appropriate tools and technology are available for in-person training. Position Requirements Formal Education & Certification Required Bachelors Degree (or foreign equivalent) or in lieu of a degree, at least 12 years in experience in the field of Information Technology or Business (work experience or a combination of education and work experience in the field of Information Technology or Business). Knowledge & Experience 5+ years IT/Business experience. 2+ years-experience implementing IT solutions, creating curriculum, conducting training, or managing products/projects. Minimum Bachelor of Science in computer science, software engineering, programming, or equivalent Proficiency with SQL Server 2019 Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap Understanding of object-oriented programming Experience with the design and implementation of APIs Understanding of code versioning tools such Git Understanding of code deployment tools such as Visual Studio Track record of successfully developing company or customer websites Excellent time-management and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with the SDLC and general software development. Preferred MadCap Flare familiarity. Project Management Skills. MS365 familiarity.
