Strong SQL and relational database skills on either MS SQL Server or Oracle, including query tuning/debugging and transaction management. Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, solving heuristic/optimization types of problems, and profiling/optimizing code performance Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skills, ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector.
