Job Title - Senior ThingWorx Navigate Consultant Location - Remote Long Term Contract Rate - Open Visa: GC USC Birlasoft is currently seeking an experienced ThingWorx Navigate Consultant who enjoys interacting with both customers and peers to be part of our Extended Product Lifecycle Management (EPLM) Team. The Consultant will be involved in all phases of projects, from analysis of clients needs to implementation, upgrade, customization, and reporting on a variety of solutions. The Consultant will be dealing with high profile Aerospace & Defence customers, hence need Aerospace & Defence industry experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a willingness to provide support along with strong technical knowledge. The expectation is this person would have 5 plus years of experience with developing apps using PTC ThingWorx Navigate, upgrade from earlier versions to Navigate 9+. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Developing apps and dashboards using Navigate 9.3 and to support Windchill 12.1.x platform. Upgrading apps and dashboards from earlier versions of Navigate and to support Windchill 12.1.x platform. Upgrade and migration of Navigate version 1.5 to Navigate version 9.3. Installation and configurations of various versions of Navigate including but not limited to 1.5, 1.6, 8.5 and 9.3. Export and Import configuration settings from one version to another. Validations of configured system. Actively participating in all stages of the implementation and upgrade projects from development through testing Developing relationships with the clients and supporting them during the project lifecycle Meeting with and utilizing teammates expertise to maximize project efficiency. Should have lead development teams and executed packets of development work from them with high quality and standards of delivery for the Aerospace & Defence Industry. Attention to details and Documenting methods and lessons learned. Exposure to DevOps and Agile projects needed. Experience in validated environments and automated regression testing is a plus. Providing hyper-care support. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science and equivalent experience in the development industry 4 plus years of experience with Navigate 9.3 Installation, Configuration, Code Update, Apps Development, Upgrade and Migration Experience with ThingWorx foundation version 8.1.*, ThingWorx Utilities Version 8.1.*, Navigate Framework Version 1.5.*, and PLM Extension Version 1.6.* Experience with Integration Connector Basic knowledge of Windchill 12.1.x PDMLink, MPMLink Database experience (PostgreSQL) is a plus. Good working knowledge on ThingWorx Platform Entities like Infotables, Things, Thing Shapes, Thing Templates, Mashups, Widgets, Datashapes, Datatables, ModelTags, Menus, Active Directory Services, Project package export / import, Session parameters etc Experience in creating mashups and services Experience in integrating Thingworx with Windchill Experience in integrating Thingworx with 3rd party Applications like ERP etc Experience in writing Odata services for integrations Experience in creating new Thingworx Apps and dashboards. Experience in creating Thingworx reports by pulling data from other external applications.
