From: Laya, Incom Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role : Software Architect Work Type : Hybrid(75% - Onsite,25% - Remote) Location : Columbia,South Carolina Duration : 1 Year(Extendable) Payrate : 60$ Per Hour CJIS Certification(Required) SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: Under limited supervision the employee will design, develop, test, configure, implement, and provide top-level support for the ServiceNow platform used by ITSM stakeholders in the Department of Admin. The employee will research third party/cloud solutions to ensure successful integration of the technology and providing knowledge transfer to team members. They will be deep application and technology skillset subject matter experts. The Sr. Software Engineer plays a critical role in mentoring Software Engineers and Associate Software Engineers to ensure we are growing future talent. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: -Maintains the three environments (Dev, Test, Production) of ServiceNow for Admin, including configurations, changes, system updates promotions, cloning, and security. - Create, maintain, and enhance forms, workflows, cloud integration and 3rd party integrations to the ServiceNow platform. Including automation and/or additional self-service features and functions. - Incorporate ServiceNow capabilities to create a unified framework for multi-cloud resource provisioning and governance. utilize ServiceNow toolset to enhance workflow for process automation. - Support the overall incident, problem and change management processes for Admin. - Onboard additional agencies and expansion of IT Self-Service Portal functionality REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): -Strong knowledge and experiencing managing/developing a large scale ServiceNow environment -ITSM and ITIL concepts and Framework -Server API Development -Powershell -Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): -Ability to communicate and gather technical requirements from customers. -Ability to maintain positive working relationships with staff, users, management, vendors, and other officials REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Science, or a related field, and two years of hands-on experience with implementing Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), or an Associate degree in Communications, Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Science or a related field and four years of hands-on experience with implementing ITIL.
