Position: Java Developer with BigQuery and GCP Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite) Local Only 10+ Years Client is looking for a highly energetic and collaborative Tech (GCP) with experience leading enterprise data projects around Business and IT operations. The ideal candidate should be an expert in projects in the Dev Ops space in Cloud ( GCP preferred), using traditional, new and emerging technologies. As a Technical lead at UST Global, this is your opportunity to Drive customer conversations to define the requirements and overall technical solutions for data and related applications Exercise you strong decision-making skills in terms of data analysis and architecting large data infrastructure Create technical solution, artifacts, work products and presentation of solution with the customer. Review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and participating actively in design discussions Collaborating with Customers and Product Marketing / Management teams to identify opportunities that can be exploited through great software features. Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Senior Business Analysts, and other client stakeholders Working as a member of a design, build and test agile team continuously releasing new features Mentoring people whether they are on your team Key Responsibilities Requirements and design 50% coding and 50% review coding done by developers, analyze and help to solve problems Integration Testing Feature Definition. You bring: GCP Professional Architect Certification preferred Two plus years of experience in designing and deploying enterprise solutions in Google Cloud Experience with cloud services such as GKE, VPC, Subnets, Load-balancers, Cloud storage, Big Query, IAM, Data Proc , DataFlow and Stack driver monitoring Experience with one or more Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform (preferred) 10 - 12 years of experience in designing and developing Java/J2EE applications using frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring XD and Hibernate Experience with Big data platforms such as Hadoop and Apache Spark Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Provide technical design or approach for business problems Use analytic skills to interpret complex information and adapt; participate with the Enterprise Architecture team to evaluate solution design and also collaborate and provide feedback to the product development team; participate in projects with other IT professionals, deliver quality applications and components within scope, on time, and within budget; Participate in business continuous improvement efforts outside of the customer focused teams; and provide guidance and direction to distributed teams, including onshore and offshore resources. Responsible for creating and maintaining all technical artifacts on the Platform.
