They don't have product owner so this person will own the app and be the lead and work with business on what to enable. Phase 2 of project to start in March. They will be working with the external vendor and do knowledge transfer This has been on-prem for awhile but now is cloud prefer cloud background but open to flexibility on this lead hands on role no plan to add a product owner almost like a BA that is technical this person will do the roadmaps will report to Director. Selling point- will be a part of a cloud implementation - most individuals only have on prem experience AND will be the long term owner of this software solution. Job description : The Application Architect OTM & GTM drives configuration, planning, execution, and enablement of product functionality to meet the product direction set by the Logistics, Transportation and Trade organizations goals targeted to attain industry best transportation and trade operations efficiency, effectiveness, and quality. This role is responsible to help define the trade and logistics capabilities to aspire for, based on the OTM & GTM product functionalities, by collaborating with Logistics and Trade organizations and assist in re-engineering core business processes, implementing advanced solutions on the OTM and GTM cloud solutions and instituting governance to deliver business value to stakeholders. This role will also be responsible to coordinate with the on-going operations and incremental and continuous improvements of the various applications and services that integrate with cloud Oracle Transportation management (OTM) and the Global trade management (GTM) solutions. This is a techno functional role that supports Oracle OTM and GTM cloud solutions on the day to day support activities, enhancements and work with external vendors on implementation and integration projects In this role you will: Work closely with our integration partner on the design, configuration, and implementation effort of enhancements on the Oracle Transportation Management cloud (OTM) and Global Trade Management cloud (GTM) solutions. Identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions focusing on business analysis and project management of application enhancements and new application functionalities of OTM and GTM. Collaborate with Business partners to acquire reasonable familiarity with trade and transportation functions and a clear understanding of the critical business issues and success factors in the context of IT requirements and recommend solutions. As a representative of the IT department, provide and support IT solutions including eliciting ideas, analyzing processes and systems logic, providing guidance, and validating requirements for changes to business processes supported by OTM and GTM applications. Support implementations, upgrades, cloud quarterly updates, application enhancements and prioritize projects in alignment with the Oracle release schedule. Effectively document and translate business requirements into system requirements to support assigned projects and maintenance tickets. Report status of ongoing prioritized projects to Logistics and IT leadership. Identify and resolve ongoing day-to-day business and systems issues pertaining to IT support and utilizing incident management tools like ServiceNow. Create a strong and mutually supportive work environment by building, maintaining, and growing collaborative relationships with business partners and peers in solving business and technical problems. Required Experience to be successful; 15+ years of related experience in Oracle On-Prem/Cloud Solutions. Deep functional and technical experience and expertise in designing, configuring, integrating, and deploying solutions on Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and Global Trade Management (GTM) cloud applications. Hands on experience with Shipment management, carrier rate management, Network routing, bulk planning parameters, workbenches, SQL queries etc., Experience supporting EDI and XML integrations, visibility systems like Project44, Fourkites and familiarity with ERP systems. Oracle Cloud certifications preferred. Familiarity with Data Integration, Business Intelligence is preferred. Positive attitude, executes consistently, rapidly, and effectively. Motivation with a proven track record of learning and professional development Excellent listening and facilitation skills and ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences across all levels of the organization.
