Workday "Timings : EST Hours Job Description : Business Technology Workday Team Lead is a member of a centralized, dedicated HR Technology Team that will support HR under the guidance of the HR Technology leader. This is a hands-on role and will be responsible for managing the daily operations of HRBT COE, including break-fix support and general maintenance of Workday across multiple modules and/or internal tools and portals. Responding to requests for support. Team Lead documents, tracks, and monitors the problem using applicable systems and tools. The incumbent of this role coordinates with other teams or specialists to quickly resolve an issue, including setting client expectations and working with other internal team members. The successful candidate will be expected to be energetic and innovative, as well as problem solve, recommend solutions, and exercise good business judgment on a continuous basis. Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities: Independently analyze, troubleshoot, and document user support tickets utilizing our HR Case management application (ServiceNow) to triage all incoming Workday requests: complete initial review and/or troubleshooting, prioritize, escalate, address questions, and resolve operational issues with Workday. Ensure that support tickets are managed towards timely resolution and closure. Collaborate with other areas within the IT department to fulfill business requests. Perform application system maintenance such as installations, upgrades, and patching. Analyze system processes to identify areas of improvement opportunities. Resolve and fulfill requests compliant to established Service Level Agreements. Integrate software and computer systems by analyzing and developing specifications that address business functions and workflow. Maintain application system support documentation on a regular basis. Participate and contribute to scheduled Disaster Recovery exercises. Be a key contributor to various systems projects by assisting with requirements gathering and documentation, writing test scenarios, executing test scenarios, creating process documents, training materials, etc. Develop and maintain functional/user documentation and internal work instructions Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree Functional knowledge of HR business processes (Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, etc.) Good understanding of Workday concepts (position management, organizations, hierarchies, supervisory organizations, staffing models, business processes, companies, cost centers, locations, etc.) Workday PRO Certification or 3 years experience in at least two of the following Workday areas required: HCM, Compensation and Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Extend, Prism, Cloud Connect Experience with Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB), Calculated Fields, and Report Writer. Understanding of HR operations and experience with HR data. Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with associates and managers. Experience with Workday Security, Payroll, and Reporting is a plus. Individual Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication.
