Note: This is a Hybrid position - 3 Days On-Site, 2 Days Remote Under the direction of a supervisor in the Office of lnformation Technology at the New Jersey Department of Education, this position will be responsible far designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce and integration solutions between Salesforce and other external systems. The candidate will liaison with different program offices, evaluate user requests, document functional and non-functional requirements, architect, develop and deploy solutions and ensure that the systems meet the desired specifications. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree or higher !rom an accredited college or university in a related technical field. Experience: (7)+ years of experience in application development activities including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation with emphasis on Salesforce, Force.com, object oriented programming, and Client Server technologies. Experience in the Salesforce declarative environment Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration experience Salesforce Developer or Admin track certifications Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and strategies to both technical and non-technical people Ability to think outside of the box and design innovative solutions Document application specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements. ldentify and evaluate vendor/partner software and integration strategies. Develop and code solutions to specification. Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end states and deliver a solution Ability to lead design sessions and communicate design options to clients ldentify and implement appropriate testing strategies. Execute all steps required to deploy/implement the application solution. Participate in a self directed team environment. Collaborate with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements. Experience with Salesforce Web Services APls - Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service APls, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API STRONGLY PREFERRED.
