From: Surender Saini, Sunray Enterprises Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title :AV Support Engineer Location : New York City, New York (Onsite) Duration : Long Term Contract The AV Support Specialist (AVSS) will support the meeting room Audio Visual systems .They will be expected to provide direct end user and executive support of standard and integrated rooms and shared spaces. The AVSS provides support and management of fully integrated conference rooms, boardrooms, and large complex environments such as open space Town Hall and/or training rooms. The AVSS interfaces daily with the customer (herein receiver) and acts as an extension of their team. His/her responsibilities generally include the operation and functional testing of all AV and integrated conference room components/equipment. The AVSS works in cooperation with the receivers IT management team in support of their equipment and user community. This position is a key part of the overall relationship between US IT and partners (Workplace Solutions, Workforce 360 IT, and IT Platforms), ensuring the needs of the receiver are prioritized and met in accordance to project and support goals. AV Support Specialist Responsibilities: At a minimum, the AVSS will accomplish the following tasks as part of their responsibilities: Maintain the AV systems based on global processes (fully enabled). Demonstrate an understanding of the concepts around Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms and Conferencing, Zoom, WebEx, etc. Deliver regular testing of the systems, including daily walkthrough and issues escalations reporting. Provide training and support to business users. Provide digital studio video and audio recordings of leadership videos, teleprompter setup, and video editing. Deliver first level support to users as needed. Escalate issues to Admins and other Support Teams as required (e.g., vendor issues, backend issues). Authorize / Onboard Meeting Rooms in Office 365, Teams, Zoom, as well as ownership of device account management and password resets as required. Initiate system updates on MTR systems. Participation in ad-hoc projects as needed. Delivers a white glove level of customer support to key leadership and events. Insures all AVS spaces are presentable for use. AV Support Specialist Required Skills: At a minimum, the AVST will possess the following skills: Demonstrated proficiency in AV technology and ability to perform all facets of the role. Experience troubleshooting varied issues that may arise with the AV equipment and different video conferencing technologies including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc. Ability to operate autonomously and manage projects with minimal oversight from their supervisor. Works autonomously in delivering installation services and providing on-site technical support to users. Prepares documentation to record and track project status, meeting room health checks, operational knowledge of equipment and all areas of configuration and support. Ability to leverage advanced troubleshooting strategies to address complex technical issues. Independently assesses and adjusts technical solutions based on the specific issue.
