Max Rate: $44/hr on C2C Role: Senior Automated Tester Location: Carmel Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid) Duration: Long term Contract Responsibilities Provide technical leadership at the product team level. Mentor, guide, and provide technical oversight to Junior team members in your area of responsibility. Coordination and prioritization of test development activities and the ability to work with multiple development teams and software projects are also critical for the selected candidate. Ability to work independently and manage initiatives to meet schedules in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Skilled at communicating with, presenting to, and influencing internal customers. Work closely with product teams and product management to understand requirements and translate them into test cases that capture all test conditions. Have expert knowledge of testing concepts, test processes, test design skills, and testing techniques. Specific duties and responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and executing test plans and test cases against our software platforms, estimating test efforts, analysing, and communicating test results, Peer reviews, defect tracking, and participating in day-to-day Quality Engineering Activities. Provide enterprise-level guidance on test framework architecture, CI/CD integration, and DevOps principles as related to software testing COTS/custom web solutions. Effective in written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts enabling teams to be successful. Ability to identify issues, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis Must Haves for this role Experience in Test im automation, API testing using POSTMAN. REST / API Service Testing Karate Microservices Testing. Set strategies for new testing methodologies & processes in alignment with business initiatives. Responsible for developing and enabling the team to execute comprehensive test automation code and test cases for new and existing features of Allegion products. Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Computer Graphics Technology/Human Centered Design and Development Min 8+ years of experience developing automated tests. Strong experience working in Agile environments. Required Skills: TestIM, API testing using POSTMAN. REST / API Service Testing Karate Microservices Testing.
