From: Yogesh Chauhan, Sibitalent [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: PeopleSoft Senior Functional Analyst Visa: USC or GC Location: Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area (Hybrid) Duration: 12 month Responsibilities The Worker must be comfortable working in an Agile/SCRUM environment conducting daily stand-up meetings, maintaining the Azure DevOps application in accordance with client's standards in support of a conversion from the legacy PeopleSoft application to a cloud hosted replacement. General Description: This role is functional in nature and will not require hands-on coding; the role will however, require enough technical acumen to research problems in the legacy system using PeopleTools/Code, SQL, etc. The role will also require Functional Analyst skills beyond maintenance and setup of configuration tables. In addition, the candidate must have solid experience leading and working in an Agile/SCRUM environment as part of a data conversion team to include the mapping of data fields and performing root-cause analysis in the legacy PeopleSoft application identifying the cause of data problems in the system. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in both the functional and technical aspects of PeopleSoft during the interview process. Functional Responsibilities: The worker must have impeccable oral and written communication skills, solid experience with the integration of the core modules within the PeopleSoft HRMS 8.8 application (HRMS, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Pension Administration, Payroll), including experience researching processing requirements between other systems both upstream and downstream. This worker must be confident having detailed conversations with the users at the functional level, with developers at the technical level, and be able to accurately read PeopleCode, write SQL, and analyze data. The ideal candidate would have experience on data conversion projects; has been a hands-on project team member, and have experience as a functional resource in Benefits Administration, Payroll, or Pension Administration modules. The workers experience would include past technical research both in PeopleTools and SQL writing and would be functional. This is not a techno-functional role rather a funco-technical one. Highly collaborative and transparent Ability to quickly grasp the complexities of the client's business mission to our members Ability to handle multiple competing tasks and meet deadlines, work efficiently and productively, communicate both verbally and written, with a high level of confidence Qualifications Minimum (Required): 5+ years of Project Team experience utilizing Agile Methodologies 3+ years experienced in gathering and documenting requirements towards changes the PeopleSoft application 3+ years of demonstrated superior, current hands-on functional experience in one or more of the following PeopleSoft modules: HRMS, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Pension Administration, Payroll 3+ years of the most recent three years must have been working exclusively as a PeopleSoft Functional Analyst 5+ years of strong SQL skills, ability to write and execute advanced SQL in both Oracle and SQL Server 5+ years of demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel 10+ years working in Information Technology Preferred (Optional): 3+ years of ability to manage a Scrum or Kanban team 5+ years experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops preferred 5+ years experience in having worked on prior implementations/conversions from a legacy PeopleSoft application 5+ years experience with Defined Benefit Pension Plans preferred 5+ years defined Benefit Pension Plan knowledge to understand data requirements and use 5+ years experience with Base Benefits or Benefits Administration systems 5+ years experience with Pension Administration systems 5+ years experience with Payroll Systems 5+ years of provided troubleshooting for isolating functional / technical problems within the PeopleSoft application Keywords: green card Colorado |
