| From: Raj, VSII [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] ROLE: POWER BI ADMIN LOCATION: REMOTE DURATION: 6-12 Months JOB DESCRIPTION: we are looking for a BI Administrator who will be responsible for the monitoring of the clients internal BI applications serving and supporting their users. This includes below Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Able to setup and manage power bi report server and sql server reporting services environments including folder level security. Able to work with end users about the subscriptions and data refresh issues on the PBIRS and SSRS. Develop new or enhance existing Power BI reports and SSRS reports for auditing or usage purpose of the BI environments such as SSRS, PBIRS, Power BI service, SSAS & AAS. Able to Develop data integration and manage relationships in Power BI reports with DAX functions; and use mQuery functions for data modelling. Able to write views, functions and stored procedures, and optimized SQL queries, and complex SQL queries for reporting; and analyze the query plans to debug reports. Able to write the PowerShell scripts to extract the usage datasets for power bi service and, create power bi audit reports on it. Able to create SSIS packages or azure data factory packages to have the data movement to the databases. Ability to work with cross-functional, global teams to accomplish work objectives, solve problems and implement changes. Performs integration, functional, smoke and performance optimization testing of business intelligence systems and software. Able to install and configure the SSL certificates on the BI environment servers, with the Knowledge of the key principles of TCP/IP, SSL and OSI reference model. As a BI administrator, need to able to spend time on weekends and off hours during weekdays; and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
