Role : Sr. Reporting Quality Engineer Location : Remote Visa : USC /GC / GC EAD MOI : Skype Duration : 12 months Need Local Profile* Requirements Experience working with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab, etc.) Experience with QA processes and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment Proficient in defect tracking and analyzing root cause utilizing tools (Jira, Rally, etc.) Strong understanding of automation concepts and approaches Hands-on experience in design and implementation of E2E Data testing strategies and developing data testing automation frameworks 4+ years of experience on Power BI testing 3+ years of experience database systems like SQL Server, Oracle or db2, etc. and experience writing complex queries and creating stored procedures 3+ years of experience in Azure Cloud, ADF 3+ years of experience Python, Pyspark, Databricks notebook Experience in defect life cycle management - logging, replication, triaging, verification, closing, metrics reporting, etc. Demonstrated ability to acquire high volumes of test data required to support Test execution. Working knowledge of test management tools like HP ALM/ Jira/ Qmetry Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience working with or on remote teams Understand and utilize risk-based testing technique Experience in a test environment and test data management Strong communication and collaboration skills, to challenge the norm Prefer Agile methodology being utilized in the current/most recent project Typical Duties Work on End-to-End product feature testing and Business Report Testing. Designing, testing, and troubleshooting data and reports Interact with project teams, development, operations, and infrastructure resources to recommend solutions to remediate data issues. Mentor and groom team members on product/application features/functionality and domain. Effectively work in a fast paced environment utilizing the Agile methodology Develop and maintain functional automation test scripts utilizing modular frameworks and best practices Execute test scripts to validate correct functionality of application Use SQL for back-end database validation Perform various types of testing including smoke, white box, black box, integration, end-to-end, regression, and system testing as needed Participate in requirement & design review sessions; evaluate requirements & design docs from a quality test automation standpoint Manage test coverage based on risk analysis Document defects and evaluate priority of defect based on overall application functionality Coordinate test script reviews with stakeholders as appropriate Adhere to requirement review, defect writing & test script writing guidelines Ensure completion of all deliverables within schedule, budget and quality constraints Participate in Root Cause Analysis sessions Ensure that projects follow prescribed software development life cycle standards Develop and maintain good relationships with project team Multi-task to meet assignment deadlines Accurately estimate work assignments Show assertiveness Identify obstacles and roadblocks; and offer suggestions to work around obstacles Help drive and improve QA process within the team you are assigned Vishal chaurasiya Technical Recruiter Email: [email protected] TEK Inspirations LLC : 13573 Tabasco Cat Trail, Frisco, TX 75035 Keywords: continuous integration quality analyst business intelligence hewlett packard green card Texas |
