From: Zara, TechRakers [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] NODE.JS This test measures knowledge of Node.js (or NodeJS), the cross-platform runtime environment used for developing server-side web applications. The Secure Evaluation Mode and Remote versions of this test will contain a minimum of 36 questions and will require a typical time of 43 minutes. The Secure Interview Mode and QwikChek versions will provide as many questions as the test taker can answer within an approximate 26 minute time limit. Following is a description of each sub-topic on the test: Core Modules assesses knowledge of three core modules of Node.js - fs (file system), net (network) and http. Databases measures knowledge of interacting with relational databases such as MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB from Node.js. Dependency Management evaluates understanding of dependency and package management for Node.js using the NPM package manager. Event Driven Programming measures understanding of using the Node.js events module to enable the non-blocking I/O architecture in Node.js and asynchronous event handling. Scaling tests knowledge of scaling Node.js applications using various techniques for handling large connection volume. Streams tests understanding of Node.js readable and writable streams, duplex streams, and transform streams. Testing and Debugging evaluates knowledge of testing and debugging features provided by Node.js for web application testing. Third-Party Modules measures understanding of the important third-party modules used with Node.js like the Express web application framework, and the Mongoose document object model. File System measures understanding of Input/Output I/O wrappers provided by Node.js. All the methods have asynchronous and synchronous forms. Asynchronous Programming with Node.js tests understanding of asynchronous JavaScript and third-party modules for handling asynchronous code. Handling RESTful APIs tests understanding of client-side requests and response cycle. Also measures the understanding of the third-party Node.js frameworks for creating REST the client-side request. Security and Authentication determines understanding of the crypto module which provides cryptographic functionalities. Also measures understanding of RESTful API authentication mechanisms and best practices. Description Job Description An experienced NodeJS Developer to join our team!
