Duration: 12+ month contract Start Date: ASAP **MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH VENDAVO** Responsibilities Must be a strong, experienced project manager, with a focus on fundamentals; should have some technical acumen; however, will not be hands on in a technical manner Will be expected to be able to distinguish inaccurate technical information Must have strong organizational skills; organize themselves and the teams they are working with and supporting Ideal candidate will not be targeting a very structured environment; they will be expected to develop their own organized process and structure that follow the Program Governance guidelines Ability to decipher chaotic situations Ability to work in a very dependency-driven environment Ability to be the bridge between the business stakeholders and IT stakeholders Ability to be somewhat of a generalist within major areas of IT; infrastructure, integration, security, strategy etc. Ideal candidate will have experience with an ERP implementation, however experience with any large-scale implementation is a must Ability to build and maintain project plans, drive the project plan, hold meetings around the project plan, and successfully see the project plan through the finish line Knowledge and work experience with tracking and managing mixed environments with SaaS and on-premises applications Required Skill Set Must have a broad understanding of IT, inclusive of IT operations and infrastructure Must have a hands-on approach, i.e., is willing to build project plans and spreadsheets, lead and facilitate meetings, create presentations, validate the quality of deliverables, etc. Ability to communicate effectively with IT and business management and executives across many mediums including email, report, verbal, and presentation formats Excellent overall written/verbal communication and facilitation skills for communicating at all levels; including strong presentation skills Demonstrate expert skills in team leadership and conflict management Knowledge of waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Project, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience using JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities Strong organizational, analytical, communication, planning, presentation, and customer service skills Ability to effectively work independently and across teams, functions, and departments Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Business acumen, conflict resolution skills, and critical thinking Accountable for delivery of large enterprise-wide projects Understanding of master data and processes Experience delivering integration projects with internal resources and 3rd party vendors Nice To Have Skills Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred, but not required Minimum of 7-10 years of direct work experience in a project and/or program management capacity, including all aspects of system development life cycle Minimum 7-10 experience in delivering solutions for both the front office and the back-office stakeholders Keywords: information technology |
