Good Knowledge in Linux, Unix, Windows Servers & Network troubleshooting skills UST is looking for someone who is agile and be ready to work in a fast-paced business-focused environment. Will be responsible for working with technical teams across multiple geographies for helping to set up a new store or troubleshooting it. This position will require technical skills and be able to follow and execute a step-by-step IT playbook be an independent contributor role and be able to work on a fast phase, multi-vendor, multi-geographical environment be flexible with working hours and may require working off hours based on production issues or criticality of tasks Requirement o Experience in end-to-end store setup - Windows, Unix/Linus o Knowledge in TCP/IP fundamentals and basic networking protocols o Experience Level 2 support/escalation handling o Automate and perform installation, configuration and upgrades of POS applications, tools and workstations o Configure hardware peripherals to function with POS applications and main terminal. o Setting with up of back office for retail solution o Expertise in change control, release deployment and L2 support activities o Client Handling and addressing operational calls with field support team o Working with 3rd party connectivity with POS machines o Coordination with development and Release management team o Setting up proactive monitoring and hardware health check o Good to have Knowledge in setting virtual machines o Good to scripting skills to minimize efforts on requirement changes o Work with network team on service issue that affecting POS terminals o Knowledge on Retail POS System, Self-checkout, NOTE: a. REMOTE work is not preferred but can be considered for right candidates but should be open for periodic business travel b. This is an independent contributor role from day. 1 c. Resource should be able to work on a multi-vendor, distributed work environment efficiently. d. A bachelor's degree or similar is highly recommended. Other Skills Multiple team Coordination required to resolve all complex application and system issues in Store production environment. Maintain good professional relationships with customers, counterparts of engineering and support departments. Manage all production system and recommend ways to optimize performance and provide solution to problems and prepare reports for all problems. Develop, sustain and evaluate delegated business processes and related applications. Supervise all alerts related to application and system procedures and provide services proactively. Perform root cause assessment and debug all issues on server domain, and to check the availability of applications. Plan, Execute, Create Playbooks, implement applications and configuration change procedures to ensure optimal quality assurance for all store applications. Good To have Skills POS LAB experience and troubleshooting skills with store hardware. ITIL Certifications, Incident Management skills, Knowledge in JIRA, ServiceNow Good Knowledge in Office 365 for reporting and doing presentation.
