Knowledge on networking is only an added advantage* Top Skills: 1. Automation testing. 2. WiFi standards 3. Mesh, networking. JD: Responsible for testing and validating different Wi-Fi hardware to ensure a quality product is released to the market. Have thorough knowledge in 802.11 standards - a/b/g/n/ac/ax,Wi-Fi security modes,Wi-Fi Mesh network,Wi-Fi 6e,Wi-Fi Performance - Throughput testing,Wireshark. Good hands on experience in scripting language(s). Collaborates with Engineers to identify, reproduce, prioritize, and document defects, bugs, or issues. Utilizes clearly defined standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the accessibility and usability of company products. Assists product teams in gathering and analyzing data. Exhibits in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills with related wi-fi technologies. Consults with product teams to embed accessibility best practices, test strategies, and user experience solutions in the Agile development process. Maintains compliance documentation for reporting and record keeping purposes. Determines work priorities and executes testing with limited direction from manager. Fosters an inclusive culture and work environment. Roles & Responsibilities: '-Writes and executes tests to validate the hardware products. Design test scripts based on the requirements provided. -Contributes to the development of high quality product/hardware. Identifies viable test strategies in order to support testing product functionality. -Collaborates with product and development teams to identify product and technical requirements. -Reviews and verifies requirements and design specifications for validity in overall product design, with an emphasis towards product testability and verification. -Ensures proper execution of regression test procedures and automated test suites and scripts. -Participates in design, code and functional product reviews. -Works with other Quality Assurance Engineers or Software Engineers to identify, reproduce and document bugs or defects. -Assists in providing subject matter guidance and mentorship for other Quality Assurance Engineers. -Provides leadership and consultation with regards to Wi-Fi best practices, procedures and techniques. -Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. -Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. -Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: -Bachelors Degree or Equivalent -8+ years testing experience with testing Wi-Fi related hardwares. Good working knowledge in automation scripting. -Enterprise bug tracking software experience -Experience with 802.11 standards - a/b/g/n/ac/ax,Wi-Fi security modes,Wi-Fi Mesh network,Wi-Fi 6e,Wi-Fi Performance - Throughput testing,Wireshark. -Experience leading, planning, executing and coordinating accessibility tests for large-scale software systems -Experience with test automation tools -Expertise in accessibility test plan creation, user story inputs, writing effective test cases and user-focused acceptance criteria -Experience with test status reporting -SUPERB communication skills (speaking, listening, writing and interpreting) -Comfortable in an Agile fast paced environment with significant time pressures, multi tasking without loss of integrity or negative impact on schedules. -Must be a self-starter & extremely motivated -Excellent time management / task estimation AddSkills Keywords: quality analyst Pennsylvania Wisconsin |
